So, this weekend will be 3 days long, I am pretty excited about this as the wife is going back to school on Tuesday and is pretty much inundated with schoolwork during the term. What does this mean?
We have scheduled a babysitter for tonight and we will be going on a date…not the babysitter and I, my wife and I. This will probably be the last time we get to spend some quiet alone date time until the end of this term. We are going to our favorite restaraunt and will be watching 3d version of the blockbuster movie Avatar (rotten tomatoes). I am pretty excited about seeing this movie. Should be great.

So, my intent was to go through some of my older photos and see what I could dredge up from the depths of antiquity. Unfortunately, it seems my flicker account has expired, which means I will need to re-upgrade it. No worries. Will probably get to it next payday.
So, if you don’t know, this is a photo of my daughter and I at the Botanical Gardens in St. Luis, MO sometime in August. I was in the process of explaining to her what venus flytraps do, and she looked up at mom, sure that I was telling her a story.
All in all, it was a great visit, and there are a bunch more photos from that day on the flickr account.
So, what is really going on here? What happened to the old blog?
First the first question. With the new year coming in, and my never-ending desire to write, I decided to renew my blogging habit, which has been sporadic at best. This brings me to the second question. It is still there, just an absolute mess. Archives are jacked, layout is not really what I wanted, and I really just wanted to start over. If you are so inclined, go look, but all commenting etc is locked.
What will be talked about?
As the title of the blog suggests, my thoughts meander all over the damn place. So the answer is: whatever suits my fancy.
